Born in Colombia, I moved to the United States with my family in the early 1990s. My love for radio started when I was just seven—watching a soccer game on TV with the sound off while my dad listened to the play-by-play on the radio. The announcer painted the picture so perfectly that it blew my mind, and I even took apart our old box TV the next day trying to find the “guy inside.” From then on, I carried a pocket radio everywhere, tuning into talk shows and tropical music stations as a kid.

I went to Chelsea High School in the Boston area and later graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. My career kicked off in 1998 at WUNR in Boston on the overnight shift. After about a year, I moved to a satellite service that broadcast my show to around 30 stations across the Midwest and West Coast. A couple of years later, I joined Mega Communications and hosted middays on WAMG for five years. I then headed to Rhode Island to help launch WKKB, the state’s first 100% tropical FM station, staying there for four years before returning to Boston to manage WNNW until late 2018.

After stepping away to run family businesses, I returned to the airwaves in March 2023, joining Ritmo FM as DJ Panda—bringing the tropical vibes and energy I’ve always loved to listeners every day. Thanks for tuning in!
